Travelport GDS will announce former Travelocity Business executive Scott Hyden as its new vice president of sales for the United States

, replacing Pat Hochstein and reporting to president and managing director for the Americas Travis Christ. Hyden most recently served as president of STA Travel's USA and Japan divisions, and also has worked at Travelweb.com and American Airlines. Hochstein is leaving after 33 years with Travelport and predecessor firms.
