Sabre Travel Network is completing the test phase of an air contract optimization tool for travel agencies
. Designed for travel management companies booking at least a million annual trips, the tool analyzes "multiple, overlapping air supplier agreements" and highlights customer objectives. Sabre said the system can work across both the GetThere corporate booking channel and the agent point of sale, and can generate an "increase in supplier override revenues" while helping corporate clients cut costs. Sabre said the tool would be available by the end of this year to subscribers willing to amend their agreements.
