Flight Centre Travel Group agreed to acquire Mexico City-based corporate travel agency Koch Overseas de Mexico.

With around 100 employees in Mexico City, Monterrey, Puebla and Cancun, Koch already operates as a franchisee of Flight Centre's corporate travel-focused FCm Travel Solutions. Taking ownership of the agency is "a natural extension of our business in North America" and should help Flight Centre "compete for and win corporate travel accounts throughout the Americas," according to Flight Centre managing director Graham Turner. The deal is expected to close in the "coming months," according to the Australia-based travel agency operator.
