Expedia's Egencia announced a definitive agreement to acquire Via Travel,

which it described as "the largest travel management company in the Nordics." Via also provides meetings services and marine transport. According to Via Travel Group CEO Espen Asheim, his company's and Egencia's global footprints are "perfectly complementary." Terms of the deal, which will require approval "from relevant competition authorities," were not disclosed.
