Concur on Tuesday announced a partnership with Tokyo-based Rakuten Travel

that will allow Concur users to make reservations at hotels available through Rakuten’s reservation service. Rakuten claims to be Japan’s largest online hotel reservation site with access to 20,000 Japanese hotels and 15,000 hotels outside of the country, with an average volume of 1.8 million room nights booked per month. Its integration with Concur will be available later this year, according to the companies.
