Carlson Wagonlit Travel is building a new mobile app powered by Rearden Commerce

. When released in the coming months for each major mobile platform, the downloadable CWT To Go app will enable "travelers to access their travel itineraries directly from their mobile devices through CWT's secure and automated Message Distribution Facility," according to a press statement. "Travelers can verify flight status, check in, research alternate flights, review and select dining options, find destination weather information, etc. In addition, travelers can click to call a travel counselor directly to book or amend travel plans, thus making the busy traveler's life easier while increasing productivity." CWT indicated the app would work with all global distribution systems and online booking tools.
