The Beat. "It just really makes a lot of sense to align
that with Advito moving forward." BCD also noted opportunities related to
"big data, location services and just-in-time communications," as
well as managing secondary spend categories and building intra-organizational
cooperation.
Launched in 2006, Advito will continue providing assistance on air
and hotel sourcing, travel policy, benchmarking and outsourcing practices. Bridgeman,
named Advito managing director, will maintain her role in the areas of emerging technology, market research, product and
service strategy, product marketing and corporate intelligence. Her roles in
traditional marketing and communications will be handled by BCD Travel
executive vice president Louise Miller.
