American Express named former Motorola Mobility executive Harshul Sanghi to head a new enterprise growth group office in Silicon Valley,

"home to countless technology companies and venture firms who are important to our long-term success," according to American Express Enterprise Growth Group president Dan Schulman. Formed last year, the group is focused on "expanding alternative mobile and online payment services beyond the traditional card and travel businesses," according to the company.
