Amex's Global Commercial Services unit, which includes corporate travel and commercial cards, reported a 64 percent drop in quarterly net income to $65 million, attributed to charges and expenses
announced last week. Overall, American Express reported December-quarter net income of $637 million, 47 percent lower than a year earlier.
