which includes continued access for Travelport subscribers to AA's "full
content," calls for Travelport to become "the first global
distribution system" to enable sales of the carrier's new Main Cabin Extra
product. The parties indicated that a "period of technical
integration" will lead to mutual use of Travelport's Universal API
technology and AA's "XML-based direct connect interface." The previous AA-Travelport distribution deal
expired in January.
