American Airlines and Orbitz Worldwide agreed "to resolve all litigation between them,"

according to a joint statement. Orbitz was the third defendant in a federal antitrust lawsuit initiated in 2011 by AA. The carrier previously had reached settlement agreements with Sabre and Travelport. The settlement between AA and Orbitz, terms of which were not disclosed, "requires review and approval by the court presiding over AMR Corporation's restructuring," according to the companies.
