The Association of Corporate Travel Executives and the American Purchasing Society announced "a strategic business partnership

to enhance education for the purchasing and corporate travel industries." Members of the two organizations will have mutual access to educational sessions, other events and certification programs. ACTE said the alliance, which "supports the long-established link between business travel management and the purchasing department," completes a "year-long search" for a complementary purchasing organization.
