Spain beginning 19 Sep will require travelers entering from certain European countries to produce passports or other identification data prior to departure
, according to easyjet and Ryanair. The "advance passenger information" program--a directive from the European Union which other countries are expected to enact--allows passengers to provide the required information via airline Web sites and call centers, or at check-in. Easyjet said the program impacts passengers from Morocco, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
