Sixty percent of 402 finance executives from "mid-size" companies said their organizations would cap spending on meeting and transient business travel
, according to a Nov. 2007 survey by CFO Research and American Express. Forty-six percent of those polled--representing companies with revenues between $10 million and $1 billion--said their organizations have "special relationships with airlines and hotels." Meanwhile, 42 percent plan to purchase more computers and laptops, and 34 percent expect to buy more mobile phone products and services.
