Sending travelers on the road will cost U.S. corporations about 4.5 percent more domestically and 4.6 percent more internationally in 2007
thanks to increased demand, tightened supply and higher supplier operating costs, according to American Express. Amex said price increases would add $46 to an average North American trip, inclusive of air, car and hotel, and $180 to the average international trip.
