Portman Travel's parent acquired Fleet Street Travel

U.K. travel management company , which operates six offices in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Netherlands. Portman said the multimillion-pound acquisition would help push its 2008 turnover above £400 million (US$778 million) and further its influence in the U.K. market "at a time when we are increasing our presence on the global stage via an accelerated investment in Radius." The company has "substantial appetite for further such acquisitions."
