GBTA Europe appointed Boston Consulting Group global travel head Gehan Colliander as president

and updated its leadership labels to be consistent with other GBTA regions, a spokesperson told BTN. Thus, as president, Colliander replaces Torbjörn Erling of Ikea Group, who was chair. As Erling did, Colliander will oversee the organization’s advisory board, which, along with the partnership council of European chapter leaders, advises the board of directors. The Stockholm-based buyer’s appointment, following Erling’s four-year run from his base in Skane County, continues Sweden’s reign as host of GBTA Europe’s leadership. Colliander has served on GBTA Europe’s strategic benchmark group and on its aviation committee.
