Dell plans to offset greenhouse gas emissions from 2007 business travel and has committed to "net zero" carbon neutrality for business travel in 2008
, according to the company's 2008 corporate social responsibility report. Data from the technology provider's "corporate travel agents" indicated that its business travel produced 51,747 metric tons of greenhouse gases during its 2008 fiscal year.
