"Business travel will continue growing in 2008, though the rate of growth will level off somewhat
," according to the National Business Travel Association's 2008 forecast, based partly on an online survey of 215 buyer members. NBTA said higher corporate air travel spending would come from 6 percent to 10 percent higher published fares, rather than more trips. NBTA expects published hotel rates to rise by 5 percent to 7 percent, car rental prices to increase 5 percent to 7 percent and overall travel cost to grow 6 percent to 8 percent.
