Air France-KLM confirmed plans to introduce credit card surcharges for bookings through travel agents based in Belgium, Finland and Switzerland, effective Jan. 12, 2012.

The surcharge for agents in Belgium will be €7.50 for flights to all destinations. In Finland, it will be €7.50 for short-haul flights and €15 for long-haul flights, while in Switzerland it will be 9 Swiss francs for short-haul and 18 Swiss francs for long-haul. Air France-KLM on the same date also will begin levying credit card surcharges on agent bookings in Germany.
