Eligibility: U.S. or Canada-based companies with five or more employees. A federal tax ID or business number is required upon registration. Companies need a minimum of five travelers and $5,000 in spend from AA flights over the previous 12 months to use miles. Some requirements are waived for Citi® / AAdvantage Business™ World Elite Mastercard® cardmembers. Cardmembers may also earn additional mileage and loyalty points by using the card.

Program Benefits: Companies earn 1 mile while travelers earn 1 loyalty point per $1 spent on eligible flights. Travel managers can set corporate travel policies in the program's travel management portal. Policies are applied to member employees when they book on the airline’s site or app. For voluntary changes to AAdvantage Business trips, travel credit is issued back to each company, not the traveler. As of October 28, 2024, companies in the program earn miles for all employees flying for business, even if the traveler has not registered in the travel management portal. Travelers must be registered via the portal to earn loyalty points toward personal status on AAdvantage Business bookings. In July 2024, the airline started to allow point accrual in all booking channels, not just for those via its site or app.
Loyalty Requirement: All business travelers and travel managers must have an AAdvantage® account to join the AAdvantage Business™ program. They use their personal AAdvantage® number to book business travel on the airline’s site or app. Program administrators access the travel management tools via their personal AAdvantage login.
