Fueled by high scores in product quality, service delivery and innovation, Hilton Worldwide scored its second-straight narrow victory over several other multibrand hotel companies in BTN's annual survey of corporate travel buyers. Hilton's close contest with Hyatt Hotels Corp. carried through nearly every category, with Hyatt winning multiple categories around rate and negotiations. Hilton also took the top ranking among hotel companies with extended-stay hotel brands, led by its Home2Suites and Homewood Suites brands, also for the second year in a row.

Methodology

Business Travel News surveyed 232 corporate travel buyers online between July 9 and Aug. 28 through the CredSpark platform. Respondents were asked to select the hotel companies with which their organizations had negotiated corporate business or had significant room night volume in the past 12 months, and then were invited to rate those companies on several criteria. Hotel companies that were selected by less than 20 percent of respondents were excluded from the rankings. Responses from those who indicated they worked for suppliers were excluded. Not every respondent answered every question.
