U.S. travel agency air transactions processed through ARC in June decreased more than 1 percent year over year, but total sales grew more than 4 percent

, according to ARC data. ARC-accredited travel agencies processed nearly 2 percent fewer transactions in the first half of 2011, compared with the same period last year, while total sales grew 7 percent to $44 billion.
