Travelocity Business next month will launch a wholly-owned service center in the United Kingdom

, using facilities obtained as part of Travelocity's acquisition of Lastminute.com. Saying it plans to pursue local U.K. business this summer, the online-originating travel management company will move such U.S. multinational clients as Discovery Communications--now handled through a partnership with NIS--to its owned fulfillment center in Amersham, U.K. This fall, the company said, it will support clients with offices in other European nations.
