Total U.S. travel agency air sales processed through ARC in March rose nearly 10 percent year over year, but total transactions declined by about 1 percent

. The latest figures represented the 17th consecutive month of rising overall sales, but also the second straight month of falling transaction volume. Domestic sales grew at 8 percent and international sales jumped more than 10 percent, while domestic transaction volume dropped more than 2 percent versus a 1.5 percent increase for international bookings.
