Starting in September, French national Marie Cabac,
a corporate travel management graduate student; Singapore national Bryan Leong,
a sales coordinator for Shangri-La Hotels in Sydney; and German national Robina
Nawrath, who recently received her undergraduate degree in tourism management
will travel to Beijing, Sydney, New Delhi, Dubai, Frankfurt and São Paulo for
the
nine-week program. Sponsored by BCD Travel, each of the three fellowships
is valued at $26,995. "Every profession must turn to bright young people
to carry the industry forward," said BCD Travel senior vice president
Christian Dahl. In sponsoring the fellowships, "we aim to launch careers,
create industry ambassadors and fill posts with great talent."
