Hotel shopping service tripBAM has enhanced its program to ensure companies receive their negotiated rates.
The rate-enforcement feature cross-checks traveler bookings with a company’s
hotel-contract data and notifies the travel manager or agency if a traveler is
not receiving the negotiated rate when the contracted room type is available.
TripBAM will roll out the feature, available through TMC relationships and
directly to clients, to select partners in September. “Rate compliance today is
a fuzzy proposition, with local hotel owners and group managers unknowingly not
honoring corporate negotiated rates,” founder and CEO Steve Reynolds said.
“We’re merely trying to ensure all parties meet their contractual agreements.”
