Etihad Airways will add 32 Airbus widebody aircraft to its fleet, with deliveries set to begin in 2027, the carrier announced Tuesday. The agreement includes a mix of Airbus A350-1000, A330-900 and A350F models through both orders and lease commitments. The airline did not provide further breakdown on the deal.
The additional Airbus A350-1000 aircraft are to "strengthen long-haul capacity," while the A330-900 planes will "support mid-haul and regional growth during a period of extremely constrained widebody supply," according to Etihad.
