Alaska Airlines has extended its spaced seating policy through July 31. The carrier is blocking out middle seats on all flights and is capping capacity at 65 percent, though groups who wish to sit together can do so by calling reservations. On June 30, Alaska also will introduce a pre-flight health agreement, in which passengers must verify that they do not have symptoms of Covid-19, have not been in contact with someone who has symptoms and will wear a face covering in the airport and during flight. The measures are part of Alaska's Next-Level Care program, which also includes enhanced cleaning measures on aircraft and in airports, smaller boarding groups and reduced onboard food and beverage service.
