All Nippon Airways beginning late this year plans to offer free, high-speed Internet service for all international classes, the carrier announced Tuesday. The new service will be powered by Viasat.
The service initially will roll out on three Boeing 767-300ER aircraft by the end of 2025 and will be available on six such planes by the end of 2026. ANA also will begin to add Viasat to 18 Boeing 777-9 and 19 Boeing 787-9 aircraft during 2026, with the service added to new international aircraft after 2026, progressively expanding the free Wi-Fi across its fleet, according to the carrier.
ANA told BTN users would not need to be a member of its loyalty program for access to the free Wi-Fi. The carrier currently offers free Wi-Fi to domestic passengers and first-class and business-class customers on international flights.
