Amadeus has integrated Yapta's airfare and hotel
price-tracking services into its global distribution system, which enables
corporate travel programs that use Amadeus to access the tools at the point of
sale. Yapta already has integrated with Sabre and Travelport's Apollo and plans
to integrate with Travelport's Galileo later this year. "The Amadeus
footprint, particularly in the European travel market, is the largest of its
kind and will enable thousands of companies around the world to immediately
utilize our price-assurance solutions to reduce travel costs and establish new
confidence in their travel programs," according to Yapta president and CEO
James Filsinger. Airfare-tracking tool FairFly announced
its integration with Amadeus last month.
