United Airlines has named Jake Cefolia SVP of worldwide sales, succeeding Dave Hilfman, who announced his retirement earlier this year. Cefolia, who joined United in 2007 and most recently served as VP of sales for the Americas, takes over the role immediately. Hilfman will remain with United as an advisor through the end of the year, according to United. United president Scott Kirby said Cefolia is "a leader with a proven ability to develop meaningful relationships with corporate and travel agency customers around the globe."
