Former United Airlines and Breeze Airways executive Tom Doxey will join Southwest Airlines as its new EVP and CFO, effective March 10, the carrier announced Monday. He will report to president and CEO Bob Jordan. Current CFO Tammy Romo in January announced her retirement.
Doxey most recently was president of start-up Breeze Airways, founded by David Neeleman, from May 2022 to August 2024, according to his LinkedIn profile. Prior to that, he spent more than five years at United Airlines, first as CFO of operations then as SVP of technical operations. He also has worked for Allegiant Air and US Airways.
