Joop Drechsel has stepped down as CEO of BCD
Group after almost 15 years in the position, and BCD Travel CEO John Snyder
will assume that role in addition to his current one. Drechsel is expanding his
role as CEO of Walvis Group, the venture capital group in BCD founder John
Fentener van Vlissingen's family of companies. BCD Travel global CFO Stephan
Baars also is stepping down. He'll become CEO of Boron Management, the private
investment company within the van Vlissingen family. BCD Travel SVP for global
accounting, controlling and treasury Cees Batenburg is assuming the global CFO
role.
