Korean Air has promoted K.H. Lee to head of passenger business for the Americas, which includes oversight of the region's sales and marketing, the carrier recently announced.
Lee has been with Korean Air since 2005 and most recently was general manager and team leader for American and Europe network planning for the airline's passenger network division. He also has worked in New York as sales manager for the carrier's eastern U.S. market. He was named to his current position in September 2024, according to Korean Air.
"My primary focus is to enhance Korean Air's presence in the corporate and luxury leisure travel markets," Lee said in a newsletter from the carrier. "I also oversee key passenger marketing and sales functions including loyalty programs, corporate and agency sales, internet sales and marketing, advertising, public relations, strategic alliances, and our joint venture with Delta Air Lines."
