Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has appointed Ben Trodd as its first SVP of sales and hotel marketing, consolidating the hotel marketing, hotel sales and worldwide sales teams under one leader. He will improve alignment and communication among the three teams to create revenue opportunities and develop talent. He also will advance important partnerships in the meetings, events and travel industry segments and oversee all sales functions—such as technology, events and training—and global hotel marketing. A Four Seasons veteran of over 20 years, his most recent roles were SVP of global sales and Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills hotel regional VP and general manager.
