American Express Global Business Travel has hired Mark McSpadden as VP of global product strategy and digital experience. He will be responsible for product-driven revenue and will support the delivery of GBT's product road map while working with the commercial team to drive GBT's technology value proposition directly to clients. A spokesperson said the role is not new for GBT but has been enhanced significantly. He will report to product strategy and marketing VP Evan Konwiser. McSpadden most recently served as VP of direct distribution and digital experience at Sabre Hospitality Solutions. He also has worked for Sabre Travel Network and as VP of emerging technology for Sabre Technology and head of Sabre Labs.
