Alaska Airlines passenger revenue increased 2 percent year over year to $1.7 billion in the first quarter. Traffic rose 0.4 percent as capacity rose 0.2 percent, resulting in load factor increasing 0.2 percentage points to 80.3 percent. Yield rose 1.5 percent year over year. Alaska reported a net income of $4 million for the quarter, the same figure it reported in the first quarter of 2018.
