The Global Business Travel Association named Patricia Higginbotham and Hema Shah to executive posts.
Most recently a vice president
at the Air Transport Association of America, Higginbotham will serve as vice
president of government relations and general counsel, focused on "key
legislative and regulatory priorities," including opposition to "taxes
that unfairly target business travelers" and support for the NextGen air
traffic control modernization program, according to GBTA. Shah will serve as
vice president of corporate strategy, tasked with providing "strategic
leadership on new initiatives and special projects, supporting all aspects of
the business," notably including "potential mergers and acquisitions,
new partnerships and various other deals." Shah previously was a principal
at Strategic Financial Consulting. Earlier in her career, she held an executive
position at Cendant/Travelport, where, according to GBTA, "she was the
finance lead on the $1.4B Worldspan post-acquisition integration team."
