London-based spend management platform Payhawk, which is actively expanding its U.S. presence, has added capabilities with which companies can add spending controls to their bank-issued corporate cards, the company announced.
Payhawk's Link & Control feature connects to major card networks, enabling them to put controls around transactions, including blocks for certain merchants and categories, budget limits and approvals specific to roles. The feature provides real-time reporting and can integrate with ERP and accounting systems, according to Payhawk.
Companies also can consolidate multiple card programs from banks and fintech companies in the tool, Payhawk said.
Payhawk, which said it services both midmarket and enterprise companies across more than 30 countries, recently has focused on U.S. growth, with a new office in New York and a growing headcount in the country. That includes naming fintech product and engineering leader Dan Osburn as its U.S. general manager and former Navan and Uber sales leader Catie O'Gara as its VP of sales in North America.
