Worldspan today said it struck a three-year agreement with United Airlines to provide its North American subscribers access to "all publicly available fares and those fares available via United's reservations offices, its Web site at united.com and third-party Web sites."
"This agreement with United underscores Worldspan's ongoing commitment to bring convenient, complete product content to Worldspan travel agencies and their clients," said Mike Parks, senior vice president and general manager of worldwide travel distribution for Worldspan. A United official said the agreement helps cut the carrier's distribution costs.
The global distribution system provider signed Northwest Airlines to a similar content-for-discount deal earlier this year
(BTNonline, Sept. 15).
