Travelport reported that total worldwide processed air segments increased marginally to 90 million during the second quarter.
In the United States, segments inched up 1 percent to 40 million. The company's second-quarter revenue increased 3 percent year over year to $551 million. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization improved 7 percent to $146 million while adjusted net loss narrowed to $9 million versus $15 million in the year-earlier period. Travelport's key metric of RevPas, which it defines as transaction processing revenue divided by the number of reported segments, rose 2 percent to $5.75.
