The Global Business Travel Association tapped Catherine McGavock to serve as regional head for Europe, effective Jan. 1, 2013.

McGavock since spring 2012 has worked for GBTA in Europe on marketing, membership and events, following positions at The Bank of Ireland and Capita Business Travel. She will replace and report to Paul Tilstone, who now is GBTA senior vice president of global operations.
