StarCite, Uversa Partner To Offer Merged Mtgs., Transient Data

Meetings technology provider StarCite Inc. and third-party hotel request-for-proposals provider Uversa International Inc. today announced a partnership to give mutual clients combined corporate meetings and transient hotel spend data.

Under the partnership, the companies plan to combine supplier databases and offer their respective RFP solutions to clients, according to a company release. Customers of both companies would have preferred access to Philadelphia-based StarCite's RapidRFP technology and Uversa's Hotel Runner solution.

The companies then would be able to offer combined transient and meetings benchmarking data to mutual clients. The partnership delivers improved ability to leverage volumes, according to StarCite executives.

"Through this partnership, for the first time ever in the travel industry, customers will be able to truly capture and leverage the entire breadth of their hospitality spend," said Michael Boult, president and COO of StarCite.
