Short-haul airfares in world markets will grow 1 percent to 4 percent on average, long-haul business class tariffs will rise 5 percent to 8 percent and hotel rates will grow 11 percent to 14 percent in 2008
, according to American Express Business Travel Advisory Services. The company also said global car-rental rates would rise 1 percent to 3 percent next year, except in North America where they will grow 2 percent to 4 percent.
