Loews Hotels in the next five years will double its revenues and available rooms
, according to executives speaking during a media briefing at the National Business Travel Association conference in Chicago. "We have access to our parent's capital," said Loews Hotels chairman and CEO John Tisch. President and COO Jack Adler said, "We will add two to four hotels a year in central business districts and resort locations. We expect in five years to be at 30 [total] hotels. The transient sales staff really concentrates on national accounts, and having one point of contact for national accounts. As we grow, those accounts can use us in more locations."
