Nearly half of U.S. business travelers use extended-stay accommodations when traveling abroad, and usage is especially prevalent among 18- to 34-year-olds, according to a survey from the Global Business Travel Association and serviced apartment purveyor WWStay. For international trips of five or more days, travelers reported 94 percent satisfaction with extended-stay hotels, 87 percent with serviced apartments and 74 percent with rentals. Airbnb recently
inked its first agreement with a serviced apartment company.
