Qatar Airways has signed a codeshare agreement with RwandAir to connect to 65 total destinations around the world, the carrier announced.
The two airlines already had announced an interline partnership in August and frequent-flyer program reciprocity a month prior. The new agreement deepens that partnership by giving Qatar access to more African destinations, such as Kinshasa and Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and giving RwandAir access to major cities across North America, Europe and Asia, according to Qatar Airways.
RwandAir also plans to launch nonstop service between its Kigali hub and Qatar's Doha hub in December.
