On Oct. 25, regional Japanese carriers Japan Air Commuter and Hokkaido Air System will join the Oneworld alliance as affiliates of Japan Airlines. The two carriers together fly to more than 20 destinations in Japan and add four new destinations to the Oneworld network: Kikai, Okinoerabu, Tajima and Yakushima. Both carriers are part of the JAL Group, along with J-Air and Japan Transocean Air, which both already are Oneworld affiliate airlines.
