Startup Breeze Airways has made its content available through the Amadeus travel platform, the technology company announced Wednesday. The carrier, which launched in 2021, said it would continue to use New Skies, a passenger service system solution from Amadeus subsidiary Navitaire.
"The low-cost airline is undergoing a period of rapid expansion, which will be further supported by the distribution partnership with Amadeus," according to the technology company.
In addition, Breeze has agreed to deploy Amadeus e-Ticket Server, which allows the airline to distribute content as a "ticketing carrier" and provides the technology needed for interline partnerships, according to Amadeus.
Breeze CEO David Neeleman in November said he sees an opportunity for a "symbiotic relationship" with the corporate travel industry as the carrier continues to grow. The carrier in 2024 established a New Distribution Capability direct connection with Navan, and AmTrav added Breeze flights to its booking tool. Further, the U.S. General Services Administration added Breeze to its City Pair Program.
